dwani

The sound of silence is deafening
This a quote from someone, unfortunately I can’t remember who. Is it really so?
Mein aur mere tanhayi aksar bateein karte hain
Listen to the music in nature, the poetry by swati thirunal sounds so real. The percussion sounds are minimum. In the harmonious symphony of nature, percussion is an alien beat hence it is used in hunting and war.
But are we ever without noise intrusions, forget mundane uncontrollable like the sound of vehicle horns, or the washing machine running. Even the so called music that we play on our electronic audio systems is intrusive.
The palpitation induced by the current apology for music numbs our emotions and helps to tune out from our fears and realities of life. Though to a certain extent it might be helpful, it also prevents us from healing.
For without the veil of the noise shield we discover ourselves, we find our scars and set about healing them.
Suniye kya kehti hai koyaliya
Mein to piya ke sangh chali
